TERMS & CONDITIONS

Anglers Paradise Guiding Co.

By booking a guided fishing trip with Anglers Paradise Guiding Co. (“the Guide,” “we,” “us”), you agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

  • All trips must be booked in advance.

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due two days prior to the trip date.

  • Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).

  • Deposit Payments are made via E-transfer,  Final Payments can be made Via E-transfer or cash 

  • Final Cash payments must be made before trip takes place NO EXCEPTIONS, Failure to pay will terminate  trip and forfeit all payments previously made.

  • Half Day and Full day trips are booked by boat and are a maximum of two anglers 

  • Kamloops Hike and Fish Adventure can be booked 2-4 hours maximum,  maximum 4 people 

  • All other trips are booked and priced as listed 

  • Guided Fishing Packages and Pricing may be subject to change at anytime 

2. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Client Cancellations

  • More than 7 days before the trip: Deposit may be transferred to a future date within the same season.

  • Within 7 days of the trip: Deposit is non-refundable.

  • No-shows or same-day cancellations: No refund.

Weather & Guide Cancellations

  • Trips run rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe.

  • If the Guide cancels due to unsafe weather, illness, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered:

    • A full refund or

    • The option to reschedule

3. WEATHER & FISHING CONDITIONS

Fishing conditions vary and are influenced by weather, water temperature, and seasonal patterns. While every effort is made to provide a productive and enjoyable trip, fish are wild and cannot be guaranteed.

4. SAFETY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Fishing involves inherent risks including, but not limited to:

  • Slippery surfaces

  • Uneven terrain

  • Weather exposure

  • Hooks, lines, and equipment

  • Wildlife encounters​

  • Operating watercraft

  • Open water

By participating, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with outdoor activities and agree to follow the Guide’s instructions at all times.

5. LIABILITY WAIVER

By booking and participating in a guided trip, you agree to release and hold harmless Anglers Paradise Guiding Co. from any claims, losses, injuries, damages, or expenses arising from participation in guided fishing activities.

6. FISHING LICENCES & REGULATIONS

  • All anglers are responsible for possessing a valid British Columbia freshwater fishing license.

  • Clients must purchase their OWN licences and comply with all provincial fishing regulations. For more info click here

  • Failure to comply may result in trip termination without refund.

7. AGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minors, Anyone under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for the supervision and safety of minors at all times.

8. EQUIPMENT & GEAR

  • All fishing gear is provided unless otherwise arranged.

  • Clients are responsible for reasonable care of equipment.

  • Lost or damaged gear due to negligence may be charged to the client.

  • Life Jackets, personal floatation devices (PFDs) are MANDATORY while on the water and must be worn at ALL TIMES

  • Anglers Paradise Guiding Co. does  provide life jackets or personal flotation devices (PFDs) for adults. 

  • Anglers Paradise Guiding Co. does NOT provide life jackets or personal flotation devices (PFDs) for minors. Parents or legal guardians are solely responsible for supplying and ensuring proper use of Canadian Coast Guard–approved life jackets for all minors participating in guided boating activities.

9. ALCOHOL & DRUG POLICY

  • Excessive alcohol consumption or drug use will not be tolerated.

  • The Guide reserves the right to cancel or terminate a trip if client behavior is unsafe, with no refund.

10. PHOTOS & MEDIA

  • Photos or videos may be taken during trips for promotional purposes.

  • By participating, you grant permission for images to be used unless you request otherwise in writing.

11. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Anglers Paradise Guiding Co is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought on the trip.

12. TRIP TERMINATION

The Guide reserves the right to terminate a trip early if:

  • Safety instructions are ignored

  • Weather becomes unsafe

  • Clients behave in an unsafe or disrespectful manner

  • Excessive drug or Alcohol use 

No refunds will be issued in these cases.

13. CHANGES TO TERMS

These terms and conditions may be updated at any time without notice. The version in effect at the time of booking applies.

14. BINDING OF ALL PARTICIPANTS

By booking a guided trip with Anglers Paradise Guiding Co. and accepting these Terms and Conditions, the individual making the reservation (“Booking Party”) represents and warrants that they are authorized to accept these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all individuals participating in the guided trip.

The Booking Party agrees that all participants are bound by these Terms and Conditions to the same extent as if each participant had individually reviewed and accepted them.

  • Minors

The Booking Party represents and warrants that they are the parent or legal guardian of any minor participant, or have obtained permission from the minor’s parent or legal guardian to accept these Terms and Conditions on the minor’s behalf.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
